i was told to come on this forum from the cliosport.net lot.
I am just trying to get in to the world of DSLR's and have previously i owned a panasonic lumix TZ7. It was a nice camera but it is not quick enough or good enough to catch subjects moving at speed.
So i set myself a budget of £1400 to start with to include everything, which i think is reasonable.
Im looking at getting a Canon 50D, 70-200 f/4 L lens, Lowpro bag, 8gb 60mbps card and the insurance and maintence aggrement from jessops incase i drop or break anything with the camera, for £80 its not too much for a 3 year cover.
Does this sound like a good setup for a starter?
Im looking to take pictures in ice hockey and possibly motorsports too with a few car motor shows.
