Hello im a new photographer looking to improve my skills and generally be social with nice people.

I haven't quite found my style yet or even what I prefer to shoot but getting there with the technical stuff (In Theory)

Yea I love Whitlingham but haven't been shooting there yet , think I'll need to get a tripod before I go

Hi Darren, cool we will need to get a group together and do a shoot sometime. Nope not married to a Nikki, I actually live in Bracondale Green, a little side street just off Bracondale.

Welcome to tp - good to see even more peeps from Norfolk on here. There are quite a few others from this neck of the woods who frequent this site (look out for Lynton and Slimbert ).
If anyone fancies having a get together keep an eye on the meetings section in case Slimbert has one of "his ideas" Alternatively you could organise a meet yourself - I'm sure that at least 3 or 4 of us (ir)regulars would come!

Yeah would be good to get a meet going sometime when the weather improves. could do some night time shoots somewhere. I dont really know the area that well, originally from Scotland. Only place I know is Whitlingham lake for some nice photos!

Hi Bryan - I'm normally at Strumpshaw rather than Whitlingham for my bird-on-a-stick type stuff. We normally do the usual Norwich night scene stuff at least a couple of times a year, plus the "characters" who can be found wandering the streets of this fine city ...
Oh, and I think Lynton still wants to set fire to the place with some wire wool spinning ... :nono:
