Hi All,

I'm just starting out in photography and thought I'd join a community to help me on my way to taking beautiful photos.

My experience of taking photos so great ha been limited to compacts and iPhones, but is will soon be takin delivery of my first DSLR, which is a Nikon d5300. I'm excited to get started as soon as I get it.

In the meantime I thought I'd share my favourite snap taken on my iPhone o give you an idea of the things I like to photograph.

Hi Dan, welcome on board.
You are very lucky, northumberland is a beautiful place to live, i visit there several times a year.
I cant help notice when im there that the skies seem to have so much more colour and contrast than here in Yorkshire.
Have fun and i am looking forward to seeing some of your photos.
