Hi, I'm new to the site, so just thought I'd say hello!
I shoot mostly landscapes and macro using a Canon EOS 450D. Having tired very quickly of the limitations of the stock lens for both these roles, I invested the princely sum of £5 for an EOS-OM adapter to allow me to use my dad's old Olympus gear. Sadly that £5 wasn't the bargain it sounded, as I've now bought 4 lenses I wouldn't have otherwise!
I made the bigger mistake of borrowing an EOS 5D MkII the other week, which surprised me as to what an improvement it is over my 450D. It appears my bargain re-entry to photography is soon to be short lived....
So I guess I'm here for two things:
1) Is that 5D really worth it over my 450D in the long run
2) I'd love some constructive criticism of my work, and hope to be able to learn lots from posting here...
Thanks,
Mark
