Just a quick post to say hello, and introduce myself.

Im Phil from Newcastle (UK), Canon user, love to take pics of Rock bands, local stuff. Id love to do portrait photography, but getting my two kids (16) and (13) one of each flavour to pose, well............its impossible.

Maybe venturing into landscape in the near future, so Im looking for a wide angled lens at the moment.

Id consider myself as a serious amateur photograher, with a lot to learn, but I enjoy it, and Joanne my wife is over the moon that the electric guiar has gone.

Look forward to spending some time here with you guys, and learning how to use my camera properly.

Hi to another Tynesider/Northeastener, we are certainly increasing in number here, I remember the time when there were only a handful from the North East and only one or two from Tyneside, see you around.
I moved to the sticks.
