Hello from New Forest UK, my first post on this site. Interested in photographing just about anything going on locally, especially wildlife & transport - already found pics of Tangmere taken at Fareham.
After a break, where I lost interest in photography, have restarted, Fuji finepix s9500, now relegated to backup, recently purchased Canon 550d, next year (Feb when funds become availiable looking at Fuji HS20 and Sigma 150 - 500 to give the Canon decent reach for birds, wildlife, current lenses on Canon are 18-135 and Tamron 70 - 300, which I find rather too short for birding.
Also have a collection of older MF lenses
The Canon has been quite a learning curve, currently have set it to back button focus, centre point only for AF and tend now to use modes such as AV & TV rather than the semi auto modes
Also looking at soon to be introduced Fuji xs1, will probably wait for the price to come down, as I have been quoted £199 for an as new, apart from packaging HS20, while the XS1 apparently is going to cost £699
PS can't see how to uplaod pics - used to "go advanced" & "manage attatchments"
