Hi y'all. I'm Philip, from Ballymena, in N.Ireland. This forum was recommended to me by one of your members (Danielb), who I know from another forum. He's quite handy with a camera, too ! 
I'm a bit of a newbie to photography, although I've had my Canon EOS 400D for a couple of years now. I have only recently started to use it in manual and semi-manual modes, so I'm still at the experimentation stage.
I attended the Lurgan Park Rally a couple of months ago (my first attempt at motorsports photography) and my passion for motorsports photography was well and truly stirred.
I've been to every event I have been able to attend since.
I'll say one thing about photography, it's a flippin' expensive hobby !!
Oh, and btw, I'm a Ford nut !!!
