Hi,
My name is Mark and I am a film-a-hollic.
Yup in this digital age I have found a fascination for shooting old school
. I started out some 5 years ago with a digital bridge camera then moved up to a Canon 300D that was a cast off from my wife after she (read I) upgraded to a 400D. Then about 18 months ago I inherited my Grandfathers photography kit. he was a keen amateur tog and regularly hired studios models etc. I now have a big box full of old camera gear from studio flash guns tripod mounts lenses filters adaptors and all of it is in mint condition, some still boxed! His main camera was a black Nikon FM but he also used an Olympus Trip 35. I have been trying to use them as much as possible since and it has been an interesting journey, I have really learnt to slow down and think about stuff and I hardly ever use the digital SLR now.
3 weeks ago I found a nice Nikon F4 on flea-Bay, just waiting for some AF lenses and we'll see what the beast can do!
