I'm Rob from Hertfordshire, I've known about the site (linked from ocuk) for a while, just hadn't quite got round to posting for quite a while.
I've been into photography for quite a while having used my father's MTL50 when I was a wee nipper but I've more recently got into it since attaining purchase approval for a dslr from the financial advisor (wife) early last year
At the moment I've not found a speciality, I've tried a few and so far I'm leaning more to towards wildlife & automotive (nice mix eh?), I tried a little photojournalism at the G20 protests recently and a couple of those shots came out well.
I think like a lot of people it would be nice to be able to partially support the hobby by selling a few shots but I'm just enjoying the photography for what it is. A chance to get out and about and take note of the surrounding environment, enjoy it, photograph it, remember it because one day it'll be gone.
I hope to be a regular poster on here
