Hello all!
I'm Karen, and now my kiddies are older and not quite as demanding (or so I'm told!!), its time for me!
At the ripe old age of 43 I have started a two year National Diploma in photography at our local college. I'm 21 years older than the next eldest student in my group, but I'm loving every moment of the course, and the guys in my group are all fantastic!
For the first year we are only using film (black and white), so it has been a real back to basics for me. For this I have a Nikon F70. I'm told I'll love film by the end of the first year, but for the moment, I still hanker after digital!
Due to receiving a small inheritance, I've been lucky enough to trade up from my trusty Nikon D40, to a Canon 5D mkll. Due to Christmas bugs (kids and mine) I've not had the chance to give it a good run out yet, but watch this space........!!!
Hope to get to know a few of you, and that I don't drive you all too mad with the stream of questions I've got saved up
