Hi Jim and welcome to TP
Though I am not a Nikon user (never have been......Canon & Olympus for me
) there are lots here at TP who I surmise can address any Nikon specific questions you might have.So, do get stuck in and share any images for either constructive criticism and/or the pleasure of the picture.
I look forward to seeing some pictures of your part of the world
PS there are few TP members who have physical disabilities.......so overall you have landed IMO in a good place for community & support with your photography.
PPS please bear in mind TP is UK centric but all welcome
