I bought a Canon 1000D + Std 18-55 kit lens on New Year's Eve 2008. This was my first venture into the SLR/DSLR market. I have now added a Canon 55-250 IS to my bag.

I bought myself a Canon 1000D + 18-55 kit lens just before New Year's Eve this year as my first DSLR and I should be getting a 55-250 IS tomorrow! Great minds think alike
