Hi fellow photographers:)

I'm an Aussie living and working in Vientiane Laos.. I've been shooting since 1974 and a pro photographer from 1978 until 2007,, 17 of those years with a newspaper..

I retired from pro photography in 2007 to move to Laos with my Australian wife.. I'm now teaching ESL..

Yeah,,most travellers divert around Laos preferring to head to the resorts in Thailand:thinking: , Angkor or Halong Bay.. But then again I like it that way..

BTW,, Laos is a photographer's paradise..

I met loads of photographers when travelling who had been to Laos, so would agree with your paradise description....maybe one day I'll go back - hopefully!:)
