Just found the forum on the web and thought I'd jump straight in and become a member.

I live in central Lancashire, I'm retired and I've been involved in Photography for more years than I care to remember. I've done the DSLR thing and I've done the mirrorless thing, but I've recently decided that a bagful of lenses is no longer for me and I've settled on a high-end bridge camera (Sony RX10) and a take anywhere compact (Fujifilm X30). At the moment I'm enjoying them both very much and I'm getting some very pleasing results.

Photographic interests are quite varied (though not wildlife or macro) and all my processing is done on a Mac with Lightroom and PhotoShop CC.

Enough about me - it's time to have a good beaky around the forum and perhaps post my first image.
