Hello folks,

I'm a Londoner and been living out of Houston for the last 2 years. I shoot weddings but street photography is what I enjoy doing most. Unfortunately, the car is King in Texas so not much in the way of street scenes at all. I love the usual stuff: - food, travel, culture, movies and of course, photography. I use a D800 and D700 as main bodies and I have a D7000 backup. I also own an X100s which, for a street camera, is completely wasted here.

Welcome to the forum Wayne we do have at least one other member that is local to yourself I'm sure @shaylou is active on the forum and resides in the same part of the states as you

Yes Wayne I am from Houston as well. I really love street photography and like you mentioned it can be a challenge to find good places. I venture down to Galveston pretty often and try to go to outdoor events here but it's difficult without someone to watch your back. Can't be too save these days.
