Hello from Guam

Hello All! I am new to photography, although not new to taking pictures if that makes sense! I have a Nikon D60 that I have never bothered to read the instructions for and am buying an (obviously) used Canon AE-1 Program SLR with several different lenses this coming Saturday. I am hoping to learn the correct way, how to take some great photos.

Hey Dave, you're where my sister lives with her husband. She works at some pastry shop making cookies and sweets, but can't remember the name. Anyway, I will withhold subjecting everyone to my lack of skill just yet... at least until I figure out how to use my camera when it's not on "Auto" although I have gotten lucky a few times, for the most part my photos are not great (yet). For now I lurk...
