Hello folks, 
I'm Richard and hail from Gloucester. I'm a retired electronics engineer and my photography interests are pretty varied, but I do tend to take a lot of birdie and aircraft shots. I try to spread my interests pretty generally, but I tend to avoid portraiture, weddings and group photography. I'm purely a rank amatuer who has practised (probably rather badly) for many years!
My kit is now mainly Nikon, with a Ricoh GX200 as my pocket rocket, but was a Pentax user until early this year. I started in the early 50's with a Brownie 127 and have had innumerable cameras since, but mainly Olympus, Bronica and Pentax in the film years and Fuji, Pentax and now Nikon since going digital.
I don't know how I've missed this forum as I've been fairly active on a few other forums for a few years for my sins, maybe I like banging my head! :bonk:
I hope to learn a lot from you guys and also will try to contribute where I can in any useful way.
