I'm trudy, 23 from Essex (please no TOWIE jokes, i'm not orange I promise! :p)

I have always been a lover of photography ever since I received my first canon 35mm film camera for my 7th birthday. I have a BTEC National Diploma in Art & Design and completed a few modules on Photography, which were perhaps my favourite modules from the entire 2 year course.

Until recently I have mainly taken photos purely to capture memories, but I now want to get serious with it.. so as of today I am the VERY proud owner of a Fuji X100 to help get me started :love:

Looking forward to checking out everyones work and picking up some tips here and there :D

Graham - I noticed you are a Garden Designer.. I'm also in the industry :) I work for a Garden Design practice in Hertfordshire as head of marketing & General Administration (we're exhibiting at the Chelsea Flower Show this year with a large show garden, hectic times!) In fact that is one of the reasons I want to get serious with photography so I'm able to photograph completed gardens to a professional level fit for website & print etc. Anyway thanks again for the welcome, i'll try and upload some work soon, most likely of flowers/gardens :D
