Another newbie here...recently rediscovered my interest in photography, got a Canon 700d in recent double cash back deal, barely used it and then we were burgled on Sunday evening...place was ransacked and looked where I'd left the camera plus two lenses I'd subsequently bought, not there. Obviously there was loads of other more pressing issues an d they'd be covered by insurance but I was gutted.

When the police were happy we could then start clearing up I was sitting out a pike of bike magazines when I spotted a strap. The holster case I thought, but then pulled it out and felt the camera still there, along with the spare two lenses! Couldn't believe it. So whether the robbing scum was blind and never noticed the gear or just turned his nose up at it, my refound interest can continue!

Looking forward to learning from others' knowledge on here...oh and if anyone in East Lothian/Edinburgh area is offered any vintage jewellery give me a shout!
