Hello from Ealing

Hi everyone, My name is John Perkins and I live in the leafy London suburb of Ealing. I've worked many of my 50 odd years in photography specialising in rather mundane product and portrait shooting.

My eyes were opened during the summer of 2008 when I lost a lot of my regular work and I decided to do what I'd done many times informally for family and friends and get involved with teaching others photography.

This is now the major part of my work and guess what!! working with many enthusiastic amateur photographers has re-kindled my true love of the craft and I'm out and about snapping away again.

I use a canon 5d with 25-105mm 50mmf1.4 and 70-200mm f4l.
For my rediscovered hobby I have a panasonic gf1 with a 20mm lens and a voigtlander viewfinder on the hot shoe.

welcome! its a fantastic attitude you have there, some folk would winge and moan about people nicking their work from their patch, you have decided to teach instead, which is an excellent use of your experience.
