Hi Guys!

New to the forum, and new to the world of Photography aswell, and thought I'd say hello!

Well, what can I say?

Always wanted to get into photography, but never had the time/money.

However, on Saturday just gone, I purchased a Nikon D60 with the VR lens, and have been playing about with that ever since!

Looking forward to improving as time goes by, and (hopefully) taking the shots I've always wanted to take!

Chris, I moved down from Swindon in November, currently winter renting a flat in Sandbanks, but in May I will be trying to find somewhere else!

Need to find somewhere I can start taking/learning to take some nice shots! As so far all I've shot is Sandbanks beach, and the Heath in Canford Mullen (hope thats the right place!)
 
Down my way we've got loads. Monkey World and the Tank Museum for that sort of thing, or we've got Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Tyneham village. THere's so many places I couldn't possibly go into it here!

Dorset's a big place, and the road's aren't all that bad lol, there's a Swannery the other side of Weymouth too, not to mention Weymouth itself.
 
Cool. Still learning me way around, i'll get there.

Same with the camera really! taken some shots on landscape and used the auto feature, as i want to get used to the camera! Might upload 2 or 3 photos ive taken that i like. Not really ready for criticism yet, as i'm only learning, but i reckon now could be the best time for it, as I can get some advice as I start

Welcome to TP and Dorset Mark - There is at least one TPer in Weymouth and loads in Dorset :) as well as plenty of places to take photos.
