Hi folks, I found out about this forum from a link one of your regulars (jgs001) posted on an astronomy forum I frequent. I am mainly interested in astrophotography but my wife is a budding landscape photographer, so will no doubt be reading the forum from time to time.
I've got a particular interest in wide angle work - shots which combine astrophotography with interesting terrestrial foreground to give a sense of context or feeling, which is often hard to portray in astro shots.
Kit: Canon EOS20D, 300D (both astro-modified), Takumar SMC primes 28/f3.5 135/f3.5 200mm/f4, Sigma 18-200/f3.5-6.3, Zenitar 16mm/f2.8 fisheye, Manfrottoto 055XB and a range of heads (a bit like wurzel Gummidge).
Telescopes: William Optics Megrez 90 fluorite doublet, Orion Optics OMC140 Maksutov-Cassegrain.

I hope to learn a lot from reading the forum.
