Hi folks, yet another member from SW England, this time from Cornwall.

Have always appreciated photography but have never been in the position to be able to start owning the equipment or know where to start (bar the point and click style snaps).

I've finally gone and bought a Nikon D60 with the standard 18-55 VR lens, tripod, UV filter and bag. The area of photography I am particularly interested in is transport and landscapes. After reading the reviews I'm hoping to save for a Nikon 70-300 VR ED lens, as I've seen some good results on this forum from using this glass.

Look forward to learning a lot more
