Hi All,
I have been away from photography forums for a few years although I have never actually put the camera down for too long. A few recent new purchases have rekindled the enthusiasm and made me start looking at my photography in more detail again.
I have had a few different cameras over the years my first serious camera was a Pentax ME Super which I loved and still own, in fact I own two! I dabbled with medium format for a while going right back to basics with a TLR Mamiya C330S...still got that one as well! I switched to Minolta for a while and really loved my first autofocus camera, a Dynax 700Si. Of course digital came along and I decided it was the way to go. So I had a decision to make, go for the new Minolta 7D or the cheaper Nikon D70. The Nikon won! Unfortunately the Minolta had to make way to fund it. I have recently upgraded the D70 for the D7100 and I really love it. Still learning all the new features and enjoying exploring it’s potential.
My latest acquisition… studio flash! So all you studio buffs brace yourselves for a barrage of stupid questions!
Peter.
