Hello, my name is Darrin, from Cheshire. My wife as just bought a Nikon D40 18x55 kit and a Nikon AF-S 105mm f/2.8G ED-IF VR micro lens for my 40+ birthday which is in April. I am a complete novice. The only camera I have ever used before is a disposable one about 15yrs ago LOL

I found this forum about 3 weeks ago and I must have read every post on the site, and I was amazed with all these beautiful photos,
