I've been a lurker here for a couple of weeks, and enjoyed what I've seen here so far. It's time I introduced myself. I'm in my 60s and I've been engaged to a greater or lesser degree with photography since a child. After too many years of casual snapping, I've decided to try and take it seriously again, partly as motivation to get me out of the house and regain some fitness!

Thanks everyone for your replies, I've been working over Christmas and this forum has been keeping me company over many hours in an empty office.
 
Hey - also from Cambridge. There's loads of great places to go shoot here. Anglesey Abbey, Duxford, Wimpole Hall etc.
