Have been a member for a little while, but never posted a message until now.

I used to be a Fuji S5600 owner until I took the plunge and bought a Nikon D40 (which I love!). Finding this hobby incredibly rewarding albeit expensive.

I live in Bristol, so will look out for and be up for any meets in the South West. Also, looking to find some people up for some semi-regular meets to snap away in the South West so if like me you do not have many friends into their photography, drop me a message.

Lastly, have read the rules but could not find anything with regards to posting a link to my flickr images - if you do stop by add me as a contact. Is there a Talk Photography group? www.flickr.com/photos/martinturner

i'm bristol based with a d40, albeit a complete novice into Digital SLR and not much time and so haven't had much chance to try and learn.

would be good to meet up locals with knowledge of the d40 to show me how to use and understand it a bit better

Hello all!
I am in the same boat p1tse, bought my D40 but am in need of advise and guidance to get the most out of my kit and my enthusiasm. If anyone in Bristol with a D40 would like to lend a hand I would be most grateful.
