Hello from Bristol (+newbie question added...)

Been lurking for a while now - but decided to dip my toes in properly now!!!
Got my first digital camera 2 years ago - a Fuji Finepix - not a DSLR as didn't have the cash and wasn't sure how much I'd enjoy it - but one that i can learn on as it has easy to use manual options (not that I use them that much!)
Now I feel more confident about 'composing' a picture - am getting more into the technical side - trying to get pin sharp focus, and just started playing with processing in Photoshop.
Next task - figure out how to upload photos in posts and start joining in!!!!

Hi all - can I ask a dumb newbie question...

I can't figure out which section would include info on printing...
I've done a search - but it comes with so many hits I can't make sense of it...
And suspect there might be a 'sticky' post somewhere on this...

Are there some basics on how to find a supplier/printer, and what to be aware of in terms of sizing and colours, type of paper/material and finish, framing etc.

I've got lots of photos now - and want to start getting them printed up - preferably in fairly large sizes to go on walls as artwork.
I love the idea of getting them printed up on a frameless material like mdf or aluminium (rather than canvas)

Are there some existing threads on this topics - and can anyone help me find them!!!
