Hello from Brighton

Hi everyone, just posting up a quick introduction. I have a question but I'll find the relevant area of the forum to post that up in!
Anyway, my 'real life' name is Darren and I'm from Brighton. I've been interested in photography for a while and have recently saved enough cash to buy a Nikon D5000
I also own a Holga 120 CFN, Kodak Brownie 127 and a 'Boots' beirette 35mm!
The D5000 will replace my Samsung P&S digital and take over duties as my main camera.

Brighton is a great city with lots of incredible architechture, it's also right next to the South Downs (beautiful countryside) so I'm hoping to shoot lots of urban stuff (architecture, urban decay, graffiti, street scenes) as well as some nature scenes. Another love of mine is music (I'm in a band), so I hope to get some shots of the local music scene too.

Oh cool, I'm actually in Peacehaven, but no one ever knows where that is so it's easier just to say Brighton!!
