Hi all,
I have always liked photography, but my skills were good enough to point and shoot with mobile built-in camera
. I have treated myself to buy a Nikon d3200, with a Nikon AF-S DX nikkor 18-105mm lens for my birthday last year, because I foolishly thought that a decent dslr camera= cool pictures. To my despair I learned that I have no clue how to handle that camera. Manual wasnt much helpful, and after about 10 pages, discouraged, I put that away, and only used my nikon on rare trips outside of the city to shoot couple of pics on autofocus.
However, my new years resolution was to get on with my hobbies, photography included. To make a long story short, I went on a full day photography workshop to get to know my camera and to stop being intimidated by it. And that was the moment when I felt that it "kicked in", and all theory with aperture, and shutter speeds and iso started making sense. One may call me foolish, but I really had problem to figure out connection in between those. I am really excited to learn to unlock all of my camera potential.
I really enjoy portrait photography and some nice macro close ups, landscapes, and since my boyfriend is a motorcyclist, motorsport photography.
I am looking forward to learning from experienced users, and getting to know you
