Hi everyone, I'm a new member and new photographer from Dundee.

Got my D3300 yesterday afternoon and have been snap happy since. I have been taking multiple shots of individual scenes with different aperture/iso/ev trying to improve my understanding of their effects. Got to say I am loving it. Especially the feeling I got when my composition looked great (to me) once I had reviewed on my laptop.

I look forward to learning from you all while I am here.

Congrats on your new camera I hope you have great fun with it. You realise it's the beginning of a slippery slope ;). This is a great place to learn and I personally think you can never stop learning. Look forward to seeing you and some of your shots around... There's great critique here and I can't think of a better way to learn although some people take it to heart, it's just a tool to improve or perhaps process your photographs differently next time.

Most of all enjoy what your doing! Have fun!
