Hi,
Just thought I'd introduce myself as a first post. I've been using 35mm cameras (Canon) for the last 20 odd years. I specialise in wildlife photography and photographing my other passion; fishing. I've been fortunate enough to spend a few years living in Africa and seem to be drawn back to the place on a regular basis. I wouldn't describe myself as a strong technical photographer but I think I have a good eye for composition.
I happened to be sitting next to a photography student at a Christmas dinner recently and she amazed me by saying how much she enjoyed using and developing film. When she said she was saving up for a film outfit I decided to donate my trusty eos5 to her and treat myself to a 7d. I'm now contemplating a degree in digital imaging with a side course on driving the 7d
.
Sorry if that was a bit long winded but it will act as an explanation for all the dumb questions I'll be posting over the next few months
