Hi everyone,
As it says in the title I live in Aberdeenshire about 20 miles north of Aberdeen. Spent most of my life here, however, I was born in England a long, long time ago. I retired early some 5 years ago, bought a cheap MFT Panasonic camera for fun and got hooked. I progressed to an Olympus OMD E-M1 which I have just sold to finance a new Nikon D810, it hasn't arrived yet so I am cameraless and starting to suffer DT's.
So far I've found the forum a goldmine of useful info, I'm now very interested in lens calibration, so guess what I'll be doing when the new camera arrives.
I look forward to contributing to the forum, learning lots and getting to chat with you guys and girls.

Thanks to you all for the warm welcome. Looking forward to the arrival of the D810 (Should be here Monday), getting more involved with the forum and posting some pictures.
