Hello, my name is Craig. I currently reside in Aberdeen, Scotland. I've been into photography for a number of years and did a course in the subject back in 2006. Unfortunately with my life taking some turns over the last few years i've found myself not being as active in photography as i once was. I am really looking to change that.
I lived in Edinburgh for a few years during the peak of my interest in photography. As a result the vast majority of my photographs have been taken in and around Edinburgh. Hardly any has been taken in my home city of Aberdeen which is quite a surprise because the more i spend time in the city the more i appreciate and admire the city.
As you've probably guessed, my interests are mostly in urban photography. I love taking shots of derelict and unused buildings (who doesn't?). I also enjoy doing portraiture shots, however my portfolio is particularly short on that kind of stuff, and anything i have done is very amateurish.
I've probably bored you with my introduction. I am very much aware there is alot i need to learn in photography, especially as any knowledge i had gained a few years ago has sort of drifted away. I don't have much practical experience nowadays due to my lack of a DSLR camera, although by the end of the year i will most likely be actively using a camera again. I'd welcome any advice and critique on any of my previous work which can be found here (the last few photographs are all very recent and done through my phone, i wouldn't call them masterpieces
