Hi there.
I'm a fairly inexperienced but keen photographer looking to expand my knowledge of photography, improve my technique and gain some inspiration.
I first ventured into creative photography when I bought my Fuji S7000 about five years ago. After studying a little theory I learnt about the relationship between shutter speed, apeture and ASA and was soon shooting in manual mode and experimenting creatively with different settings.
Unfortunately my progress reached a plateau and as a result I found myself less motivated to take the camera out with me. To try and remedy this, I have recently sourced an old Cosina CS-2 locally (currently in need of a lens) so I can try my hand at monochrome film photography. I don't know why, but this appeals to me at the moment and if my fondness for film continues I may venture into medium format and possibly developing my own photgraphs too, both areas I currently know little to nothing about.
There we have it, a little about me and where I currently am with my hobby. I look forward to reading your posts and learning from your experience and most of all I look forward to getting some new ideas and inspiration from you all.
So, hello from me!
