Hi. A friend sent me a link to this forum and it looks like a good place to be. A little about myself. I'm a crime scene examiner and photographer (not nearly as exciting as it sounds). Not a lot of scope for creativity in my daily work so for a number of years I've been produducing occasional articles for a number of magazines - mainly vintage and custom cars and bikes - and learning more about the craft. I'm always looking to improve my skills so I welcome any constructive criticism. Currently I work with a Nikon D3 and D300, 18-55mm and macro for detail stuff. I also have a D40 with 18-55mm and 55-200mm which is small and light - just right for combined bike trips/assignments. Somewhere gathering dust is an old Bronica ETRSi. I'll post a thread in the transport section so you can see some of my work. Looking forward to the response.

Cheers Johnny

Hi Johnny and welcome.

Not be surprised if some folk in here have questions for you.
There was a thread a few months ago with people asking how to get a job like yours.

Blimey, that takes me back!

Funnily enough I've got one of the old MPP plate film cameras that's even older - 1950s I think. It takes beautiful pictures and is a real talking point for lectures and presentations.
