Hello, my name is Debs and I have a D40. I havent a clue what I am doing with it, but keep playing in the hope that something good comes of it 
I have been reading the threads on here for some time, but didnt have the bottle to join you as you all seem to talk a different language
So finally plucked up the courage and here I am. I have had my camera for about 3 months and have been experimenting. I thought my efforts where very good until I saw all the fantatic pictures on here. Put me in my place and showed me up for what I am, middle aged woman in need of hobby and no time to spend on it,
