Hello Everyone

Hello Everyone, just found this great forum.
Just got my first Digital DLSR, it is a NIKON D3100 Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm + 55-200mm f/4-5.6G Telephoto Zoom Lens.

The problem is I dont have much of a clue how to use it.
Dont really want to put it in Auto and let the camera do the work, I want to learn how to use it to its best abilities.

Mainly want to use it to photograph dogs and horses, fast moving shots etc.
So will be asking quite a few qeusitions on here, if that is OK.

I've found that getting the basics from TP and then just playing about with all the settings until I get something half decent.

Been six weeks since I upgraded and the camera has been in my hand almost every day getting used to it. Enjoy
