Hello to all of you!

I am going to buy my first ever DSLR in a few days and as i am not really been into this id like some help with what accessoryes to buy aswell.

I have chosen to get the new Canon EOS 650D with kit 18-55mm.
Also a 32GB memory card (sandisk up to 45mb/s).

But what else should/will need to buy? Filters? Bag? Lens?

Hiya and welcome!!

You never actually need to stop buying stuff if you're enjoying it

Is there anything you particularly plan to photograph? Such as Landscapes? Wildlife? Motorsport? [probably not with an 18-55]. That might well influence what you buy next

Yes ofcourse i know that once you get going then theres no end on upgrades and extra gear to buy.

Well, i think that will give a go with everything :)

Mostly problably portraits (have 2 young ones), and landscapes - buildings ect aswell.
And well, next bigger intrest would be to get real close to small things (like bugs). What type of lens would be good for that (macro?)...

Hey fellas, has anyone ordered a camera from a place called "BigNorman.com?)... i have googled about them and getting mixed reviews. And that they are in Gilbartar based.
Mybe here in this forum community someone whos ordered from them and have experince?

So far i have found cheapest kit for 749.99£ (amazon). But they have it for 645£...

Also, as i havent ordered anything yet, is the kit lens (18-55mm) useful for starter or would it be smarter to get body and some better lens like the (18-130mm?)...

I know absolutely diff all about Canon!

A quick blimp of Jessops website suggests they're about the same speed but the extra focal length adds about £225.

My gut feeling is that the 18-55 is a very adequate starter lens to learn your way around, but cue some Canonista here who can tell us what's really what ... :D
