Hi guys,

My name is Joe Whitley and I'm a journalist from Yorkshire.

I have just discovered a love for photography after investing in a proper camera for a trip to the Grand Canyon and am joining the forum to get tips and critiques on all my photos.

Don't want to spam you all with a link to my photos but I am on Flickr and would love to know what you all think of my work. I'll admit, I am clueless when it comes to technique at the moment (I just take pictures that I think might look good; I don't know anything about composition etc) so please don't be too harsh on me!

I am looking forward to interacting with you all and learning from you.

Yes, and enjoyed it! But I went into a pub where the landlord came from 1 mile from my house AND he had a Manchester beer on tap, AND, I can come home from Yorkshire!
