I'm Martyn and I'm completely new to the world of photography!

I got a Sony a200 for christmas, and for the past 3 - 4 weeks I've just been snapping at anything and playing with the settings - learning.

Also, I have been all over the internet looking for hints and tips and thats were I came across Talk Photography

I'm looking forward to chatting to everyone on here, and asking silly noob questions!

Can anyone advise a good photography book for a beginner? From doing a quick search would 'Understanding Exposures' be ok?
