Hi to one and all.
I'm not a newcomer to photography by any means, but this is the first time I have joined a forum so please be gentle with me.

I started out with a Fuji film camera 30 years ago. Then upgraded to a Pentax film camera and had half decent results. I used to do mainly motorsport stuff as my brother used to race sidecars and i used to do a bit of Motocross racing in my youth. When digital photography came out I changed to a Pentax K10 so I could utilise all the lenses I had amassed. I never really gelled with it to be honest, but did take a few good light trail ones a few years back. Recently I have got into bird-watching and wildlife photography, and was going to get a big lens for my pentax, but decided to change brands before I commited such big amount on pentax. So I made a bid on a Sigma 150-500 Canon fit and went and won it on Boxing Day. I had been researching Canon bodies for a few weeks and opted for a Canon 60D. So that is my little story, sorry for waffling. I will try and add some photos soon,as I figure out how to do it. My new laptop is taking some getting used to,but I will try my best.
Robin.

Hi Robin, and welcome to the forum from a fellow Linc.

Hi Rob, enjoy the forum :welcome:

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I will try and start a flickr account this weekend to show all my mediocre photos! Then will try and figure out how you add it onto the bottom of all your messages like pinkbikerbabe and Maggie52 have done. I might have to go take some more photos at Yorkshire Wildlife Park this afternoon though, the sun is going to shine.(y):snaphappy:

Hi Robin and welcome to TP... looking forward to seeing you around the forum and your photos of course:wave:

PS..... Nothing wrong with waffling:D

Hi Rob and welcome to TP - Glad that you decided to join up, this is a friendly and informative forum.

Look forward to seeing you around

Thanks again to new welcomers.
Love the Lynx kittens and otters Cg_Girl,which zoo/wildlife park where they taken at? (You will see quite a few Exotic species from me too I hope)
And Sara, those Dragonfly photos are awesome. I can only dream of taking macro that good. Some serious kit needed there I bet.
I have finally sorted a Flickr account, just need to find something good enough to fill it ;)

Hi Rob, Welcome to TP. Hope you find it as entertaining and informative as I do!
