Hey, I'm new here so I thought I'd introduce myself.
I'm Scruff (Joe), and I live on the Isle of Wight, UK.
i've had my camera for around 3 months, and it is a Nikon D3000.
I only have 2 lenses at the moment, one is the original Nikkor 18-55mm VR lens that came with the camera package, and the other is a Sigma 70-300mm DG Macro lens. I carry my equipment in a LowePro camera back pack.
I'm very new to this hobby, but it is one that has interested me for the last few years. It was about time I did something about my interests, so here I am now with my own DSLR.
I'm very open to all areas of photography, but I would like to concentrate on landscape and sunrises at the moment.
I'm currently in La Renovie in southern France, and have taken well over 900 photo's in 6 days, I hope at least a few of them are ok. If not, they will at least serve as a memory of my time here.
We took a trek to the Millau Bridge the other day, it was an immense site and I couldn't help snapping away at it from every possible angle to gain as many perspectives of it as possible.
Anyway, thats me- so I'll stop going on now.
Hello to everyone, and I look forward to my stay here.
All the best,
scruff.
