Hi all
Just a little intro
I have recently been made redundant from my job where i have been employed for the last 7 years and have had time to think alot about what it is that i wanted to do for myself and not some big boss who's hardly ever in the office but expects you to work like a robot.
I know that many people do this as it is there only option.
I have taken some of the redundancy money and invested in some photography gear and voila.
I have combined all the things that I love such as sport, wildlife, architechture and interior design and have been snapping like crazy.
I have a 500d and will be putting it to test at the Farnborough airshow, i have hired a 300mm f/4 L IS USM but after further research i think that the
Canon EF 400mm f/5.6 L USM would be a better option.
I have not ordered a extender for the lens, could anyone advise if the converter would be a better choice with the 300mm or to just use a 400mm f/5.6?
Anyway, i have a interview at a commercial photography studio next week and really hope to get some nice pics at the show to put into my portfolio to show my talent.
Cheers guys
