Hello all,

I am a simpleton from a small town of Nuneaton in the shire of Warwick, Not an offensive creature but can be known to attack if Jaffa Cakes are spotted but easily calmed with a strong brew.....

I just joined the forum to...

Improve my skills/Convince myself to buy more expensive equipment to try and mask my inadequacies

I shall delete as applicable in the future :D

Had a few years (10) with my trusty 400D and various lenses snapping family, days out, nephews football matches and the like and decided a month or 2 ago to get some better equipment and (hopefully) do a bit of motorsport photography

Ended up with a 7D, 24-105 L and a 70-300 L

Hopefully I will be able to contribute in some way to the forum, even be it in a 'Village idiot' role where I can be summoned upon to amuse with tales of whimsy regarding my prowess on dull days

Im getting that special fuzzy feeling inside that makes me want to break out my camera when I get home and take some shots....
 
Nice introduction post but please, from that description, don't post any selfies, I've been to Nuneaton.
 
Ha ha ha

We aren't too bad over here....

You'll have to come over one day and join in with us throwing rocks at the big fire ball monster in the sky.....

It takes about 12 hours of throwing to scare it away but he always comes back after a while......
