Hey

I have been on here for a few weeks, and just finding my feet.

Does anyone have suggestions on some useful books that may be useful for studying photography beit film/digital as the principles are much the same.

done a course a few years ago but forgotten all the advice and just got my self a new D-SLR and looking to experiment and understand more around the technique of taking good and varied photos.

i have looked at a few ansel adams books etc but they dont really explain the ins/outs of taking the pics, does anyone have any suggestions or alternatively are there websites etc that do this better than any book

Thanks in Advance

Billy

If your original post refers to composition, I'd recommend Mastering Composition by Chris Rutter and The Photographer's Eye by Michael Freeman.

As for exposure techniques etc, Understanding Exposure is hard to beat
