Hello and help

Hello there everyone
I've just tried to post a pic and completely failed. This is my very first time, please help!
The other day when I was browsing around I'm sure I saw some instructions re posting a photo but now I can't find it.
I just tried to put an image on the "nature's abstract" thing, which I now think might have closed anyway - doh.
BUT - even if I have missed the boat I'd still like to have a go so I know what I'm doing next time.

Hi Melanie.. have you uploaded it to either the gallery here, or to a hosting website like www.photobucket.com

If you have, both of those should provide the "code" for forums and bulletin boards. It should start with

If you copy all that lot, and then paste it into a reply to a message, or a new post, it should then display the image.
