OMG i cant believe how difficult it is to put a photo in a thread...
i know i'm no expert but i'm not that dim with computers

working from site gallery,,,,paste the linked image url ...well have done thisabout 50 times and i still cant get the picture to show

i'm fed up with re reading the instructions

what am i doing wrong ...is there a knack to this that i'm missing

Hello, firstly I asume you have loaded the photo's you wish to use, to your own gallery on this site. If you then open the photo from your gallery, copy the linked image line which can be found below the photo. It is then just a case of pasting the link to your thread. Once you submit the thread your photo will appear. Hope that helps.

when you copy the image location, do you click the insert image icon, looks like a couple of mountains on yellow background, then paste in the box

This forum is much the same as many others regarding posting images and it really is easy once you learn how to.

There are several ways to post images but for me the easiest is to open a free account with photobucket at www.photobucket.com

You can upload one or several photos straight from your pc to your account and once loaded just copy the img line under the picture
Which will look something like -

Then paste this img line in the thread you are posting in.

As most internet forums use a variation of this type of picture linking its worth learning how to do it –you can also link other sites to you single picture on a photobucket account.

It may also be worth pointing out that the max picture size on this forum is 800 pixels wide –any bigger and the moderators may remove the link.

Make sure you're right clicking the photo and selecting the URL from the properties box, not copying the URL from the address bar. They are different and it will only work from the properties box

stick with it this site is fantastic & once you've mastered how to post 1 pic its easy,I use photobucket or flickr & copy & paste the url from there.
The url is found UNDER your photo not in the address/search bar.
