I found this site a couple of weeks back and have tried to use my time wisely by reading and following, now its time for me to come forward and say hi.
I'm a total newbie to anything other than point and click, I've never done anything other than that, never thought of how it'll look or anything. But after 2 weeks of reading and looking at others pictures I'm blown away and total respect.
I have a Nikon D40x with the reg 18-55 lens and also a 55-200VR lens and would love how to get the most out of them, so willing to try and learn, in the same line I've wondered if I should look at a class or something to try and gain a little more experience rather than my comfort zone of point and click.
I'll upload a couple of my point and clicks later and place myself at the mercy of you all.

But personally I like the shot, although centred and the full rotors would have been nice
