Hi Everyone at TP,

Just a brief post to introduce myself. My name is Adrian and I've been taking photos for years but have never posted any on a forum like this. I am in the process of building a website about the Cuillin Ridge on Skye from the perspective of both climbing and photography so will be after some advice and gentle criticism soon. Mainly into landscape photography but also climbing and scrambling. Will try and get some pictures up ASAP.

Thanks, Doug. That was a quick response. Obviously a friendly bunch here at TP. Just posted a photo (to see if I can get a hang of the system) over in the Landscape section.

Looking forward to seeing some more of your work; your first posted image is a cracker.

I presume you already have a copy of Gordon Stainforth's book "The Cuillin"?
Outstanding photos of the Cuillins, and when I first started going there the climbing notes appendix were the best available for navigating around the ridge.

Duncan, I do indeed have a copy of Gordon's fantastic book. The route description is still very good but has been superseded a bit by the brilliant SMC guide books, Skye, The Cuillin and Skye Scrambles.
 
Hi Adrian welcome to TP, looking forward to your photographs and watching how you project on the Cuillins progresses.
 
Once again, thanks everyone for the big welcome. I'm off to Skye for 3 weeks so hope to get some photos up after then.
